CLEAN SHEETS

From a horizontal position on the bed, viewers watch the video "Clean Sheets." The first half of the video depicts a figure rolling in space. The number of rotations across the screen corresponds to the number of times the sheets are changed on a hospital bed during a three-month period. In the second half of the video, figures gradually appear and accumulate. The composition is based on the accumulation of notations on a medical chart over a twelve-month duration. An audio track features the voice of Kari Blouin.

The video "Clean Sheets" was recipient of the 2007 Dybvig Redstone Award.
